Ms. Sheryl Lau Qingyu, the Speech Therapist, graduated from University of Sydney, Australia with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Speech Pathology. She is also a certified Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapist (introductory level copy of certificate.). Sheryl is a member of (Speech-Language and Hearing Association of Singapore). She gained her clinical experience during numerous placements, among others in St Joseph's Hospital, Greenacre Public School, The Royal Rehabilitation Centre, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Horsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital and St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Primary School. Sheryl has been also serving as a volunteer in Riding for the Disabled Association in Singapore. Sheryl has been working closely with nurses, teachers, peers and caregivers to better understand what is required of the children in the classroom and during other daily activities. As a result, she is able to consider these factors when designing speech therapy programs, ensuring relevance to a child's everyday life. Sheryl fully understands the importance of caregiver involvement in successful therapy, she encourages their active participation in therapy sessions, as well as provides them with relevant home programs.
Sheryl is familiar with The Lidcombe Program originating from the Australian Stuttering Research Centre at The University of Sydney. The Lidcombe is a behavioural treatment for young children who stutter. Sheryl continues to learn about new methods and therapy approaches and participated in number of professional development events among them: M.O.R.E. - Integrating the mouth with sensory and postural functions, completed, Hanen, It Takes Two To Talk, program for parents of children with speech delays (CERTIFIED), Level 1: A Three-Part Treatment Plan for Oral-Motor Therapy, completed Oral-Motor Therapy: Assessment & Program Plan Development, completed and DIR-Developmental Individual-Difference Relationship Model - "Floortime" completed. S.O.S. Approach to Feeding Workshop completed.

Ms. Agnieszka Debowska, the Speech Therapist, graduated from the University of Gdansk, Poland with a Masters (M.A.) degree in speech-language therapy. She is a full member of the Singapore's speech pathology professional body - SHAS (Speech-Language and Hearing Association of Singapore) since 2004. Her professional experience gained both in Singapore and Poland, includes speech and communication treatment in many settings, among others: special schools, private practice, early intervention programme, multi-disciplinary team approach and inclusive kindergarten. Agnieszka arrived in Singapore in 2003 and since then she has been working as a Speech-Language Therapist, first in Jurong Gardens School, MINDS (Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore) and later in private practice. She also served as a volunteer in Jervoise Special School, APSN (Association for Persons with Special Needs).

Agnieszka loves working with children and believes that therapy through play is the best approach to achieve most therapeutic goals. Agnieszka also believes that family involvement and early intervention play a crucial role in helping the child to overcome speech and communication issues.
